AutoRunner Transfer

SmartAPI hands reviewed automation to AutoRunner by saving a scenario. Open a generated session, review a candidate, and choose Save scenario.

Before saving

Confirm that the workspace, session, source version, methods, and paths are correct. Review every request, assertion, capture, script, and variable, and replace real credentials with runtime values.

Choose a destination

Save scenario opens the AutoRunner destination picker. Choose the folder that should receive the scenario, then save the reviewed candidate. The current workflow saves scenarios directly rather than using the older Transfer to AutoRunner Postman-project dialog.

Each save creates a new, independent scenario. The generated candidate remains available for further edits, and saving it again creates another copy.

Find the saved copy

Open Scenarios to browse saved copies by AutoRunner source and folder.

Select a saved scenario to review its ordered requests. Editing or regenerating the session candidate does not automatically update an independent saved copy.

Execute in AutoRunner

Saving prepares automation for execution; it does not start a run or prove that the scenario passes.

  1. Open the saved scenario in AutoRunner.
  2. Configure environment values and secrets in Test Datas.
  3. Check the execution target and Run Profile.
  4. Add the scenario to a Test Plan, or run it individually.
  5. Review the Test Run and its report.
