Browsers
BrowserHub organizes available capabilities by operating system and browser. The inventory is discovered from the connected Device Farm service rather than maintained as a fixed documentation list.
Start from the capability browser
- Choose a Windows, macOS, or Linux branch.
- Select a browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, or another capability supplied by the environment.
- Select a version from the grid. Use the version search when more versions are available.
- Confirm the capability and wait while BrowserHub provisions the session.
- Name the session when the live workspace opens.
Selecting a version can trigger automatic provisioning. BrowserHub polls until the resource is ready or the request fails.
Version selection
Automation can use exact, prefix, or latest-compatible version matching through the generated configuration. For an interactive test, select the visible version that represents the user's target environment.
If the page heading loads but no OS or browser capabilities appear with a network error, the external Device Farm inventory is unavailable. Retry later; do not interpret this state as confirmation that no browsers are licensed.
