Test Events and RabbitQA Handoffs

MobileHub participates in RabbitQA's wider testing workflow rather than replacing TestPilot or AutoRunner.

Supported handoffs

• Associate an issue created from session evidence with a TestPilot plan and optional test run.
• Open synchronized RabbitQA, Jira, or Azure DevOps issues from the MobileHub Issue Tracker.
• Use AutoRunner or another Appium client to create automated Device Farm sessions.
• Report automation progress and results through the integration supported by the current environment.

Integration guidance

1. Create a least-privilege API key.
2. Use the current UI or generated client configuration to obtain the environment's endpoint and capabilities.
3. Preserve the RabbitQA plan, run, session, and issue identifiers returned by the workflow.
4. Send events in execution order and keep retries idempotent where the integration supports it.
5. Open the linked RabbitQA object to confirm the result and evidence arrived.

Contract ownership

Device Farm endpoints and event payloads are deployment contracts owned by the connected service. Do not copy endpoint lists or schemas from an older documentation version. Use the generated configuration and the API contract supplied with your RabbitQA environment.
