CaseWriter Files

What is Import/Export?​

CaseWriter allows you to import and export test cases in Excel and CSV formats. This feature is ideal for migrating test cases from other tools, collaborating with team members, or backing up your test cases.

Export​

Export Process​

  1. Select the tests you want to export in Test Repository
  2. Click the "Export" button
  3. Choose format (Excel or CSV)
  4. Configure export options
  5. Download the file

Import​

Import Process​

  1. Download the template file (Excel)
  2. Fill the template with your test cases
  3. Click the "Import" button

  6. Review the preview and confirm

Use Cases​

Migration​

Migrate your test cases from Jira, TestRail, or other tools. Export your existing test cases, adjust the format, and import them into CaseWriter.

Collaboration​

Share Excel files with team members. Write test cases in Excel, go through the review process, and then bulk upload to the system.

Backup​

Take regular backups of your test cases. Export your entire test repository in Excel format and save to local or cloud storage.
