Smart PBI Module

Smart PBI is an AI-powered module that automatically generates Product Backlog Items (PBIs) from various sources including documents, text, images, and SmartRequest data.

Step 1: Select Sources​

Choose your input sources:

  • Upload documents (PDF, DOCX, etc.)
  • Paste text content
  • Add images or mockups
  • Select from SmartRequest

Step 2: Configure​

Set generation options:

  • AI model selection
  • Output language (Turkish/English)
  • Target platforms
  • PBI types and quantities
  • Quality level

Step 3: AI Analysis​

The AI processes your inputs:

  • Extracts requirements
  • Identifies user stories
  • Generates acceptance criteria
  • Creates hierarchical structure

Step 4: Review Results​

Review and refine generated PBIs:

  • Edit individual items
  • Reorganize hierarchy
  • Export to various formats

PBI Types​

Epic​

High-level business objectives or large features:

  • Represents significant functionality
  • Contains multiple features
  • Typically spans multiple sprints

Feature​

Distinct functionality within an epic:

  • User-facing capability
  • Contains multiple user stories
  • Deliverable within a sprint or two

User Story​

Specific requirement from user perspective:

  • Follows "As a... I want... So that..." format
  • Contains acceptance criteria
  • Estimatable and testable

Acceptance Criteria​

Conditions for story completion:

  • Specific and measurable
  • Testable requirements
  • Clear definition of done

Integration Points​

SmartRequest Integration​

When a SmartRequest is approved:

  1. Click Generate PBIs on the request
  2. Smart PBI opens with request data pre-loaded
  3. Select which data to include
  4. Generate PBIs based on the request

Export Options​

Export generated PBIs to:

  • Excel - Spreadsheet format for import
  • PDF - Documentation and sharing
  • Jira - Direct integration (when configured)
  • Azure DevOps - Work item creation

Getting Started​

  1. Navigate to Smart PBI from the sidebar
  2. Click New Generation or use an existing session
  3. Follow the 4-step wizard
  4. Review and export your PBIs
